# What is Omnichain?

A omnichain platform is a protocol that operates across several blockchain networks. As the blockchain world moves increasingly towards modularity and cross-chain applications evolve, Level allows its users to seamlessly operate across all supported networks.

Users can simply switch network and take advantage of all offerings within the Level ecosystem, greatly facilitating the user experience.
